These Afro-pop Designers were featured in in Toronto’s Largest Alternative Design Event earlier in February. The exhibition took place at the Royal Ontario Museum and the Harbourfront Centre earlier and was a huge success! We wanted to share photos with you.

“The seven designers wove in mythologies from their cultures, incorporated materials from their environment, and touched upon urgent contemporary issues. They created garments that are a window into the cutting edge of African and Afro-diasporic fashion design rooted in their personal contexts.”
