Describe your style: I’m a vintage connoisseur at heart.

What piece in your closet can you not do without? My most coveted piece would probably be my Crisca Escada elephant pant suit. I found it at an old consignment shop buried in between some old jeans in pristine condition.

Which trend will you never be caught in? I never have and never will be a fan of Uggs.

Where do you normally shop? I shop everywhere. I particularly love the thrill of hunting for unique pieces so I usually frequent thrift stores, vintage stores, and consignment shops.

What factor most influences your style? I’m influenced by everything around me… BLOGS, MUSIC, MAGAZINES, ETC. The entire lifestyle of the ‘60s and ‘70s is where I draw most of my fashion inspiration from. The music that I listen to also plays a huge role in my personal style. I feel like music sets the tone and puts me in a certain element that allows my imagination to run wild. My music playlist consist of: Culture, E. Badu, Tribe Called Quest, Asa, P Square, De La Soul, Theophilus London, and Jay Z (just to name a few).

Who is your style muse? Erykah Badu, Diana Ross, and the legendary Grace Jones

Where do you usually get your styling inspiration from? Right now I’m currently inspired by men’s fashion and ‘90s music.

What one style advice will you give a ‘wannabe fashionista’? Don’t be a walking mannequin. Create your own style and stick with it.
