Ghanaian-American photographer, Prince Gyasi, shows his a unique perspective through his images. His iPhone photography gives off a local feel to his images, whether posed or candid. Gyasi showcases the everyday lives of locals, though he seems to be partial to images of children. His pride in the black skin also shows through. He also has images where he showcases slavery issues and the dangers of mental slavery.
Given his photography, it’s not surprising to learn that he is a co-founder of a GoFundMe campaign called Boxed Kids which aims to give local Ghanaian creative kids an education.
